Briana Mayo, APRN, PNP-C
A native of Denham Springs, Briana Mayo received her Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2002 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2008.
Briana has 18 years of Pediatric and Neonatal experience and is board-certified in Pediatric Primary Care and Pediatric Mental Health.
She is married and has three children. In her spare time, Briana loves to watch her children play sports, instruments, act, and sing. She teaches Sunday School to 4- and 5-year-old children at Journey Church. Briana is dedicated to providing compassionate care to children in our southern region.
Keewanna is a Family Nurse Practitioner and joined our practice in August 2018. Kee was born on the westbank of New Orleans in Gretna and raised in Marrero, LA. She graduated from Dillard University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008.
Kee started her career as a Registered Nurse at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans before moving to the Baton Rouge area. She worked at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital-Pediatric Medical-Surgical Unit and obtained a Pediatric Nursing Certification.
In January 2016, Kee returned to graduate school and earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from Southern University A&M College in December 2017. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of pediatric experience.
She lives in the Baton Rouge area with her husband and four children. Kee is passionate about serving the children of our community and has an interest in the improvement of care for pediatric asthmatic and diabetic patients. She enjoys caring for her patients, relaxing, and family time.

Keewanna Womack, APRN, FNP-C

Jennifer Kepper, APRN, FNP-C
A native of Livingston Parish, Jennifer Kepper received her Nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge in 2004.
She has 15 years of nursing experience including work in the emergency room at Baton Rouge General and Our Lady of the Lake. It also includes 5 years in home health, providing nursing care to medically fragile patients in the Baton Rouge area.
In 2018, Jennifer completed a Masters of Science in Nursing at Southern University A&M College. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with many years of pediatric experience in the emergency room.
Jennifer is dedicated to providing compassionate care to the children of Livingston Parish. She lives in Walker with her husband and children, and in her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family.
Carey is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing career started in 2004 after graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University and began working as a labor & delivery nurse at Woman’s Hospital. After later transferring to Earl K. Long Hospital, Carey worked in various units including the intensive care unit, the cardiovascular cath lab, and the endoscopy lab.
After returning to graduate school at Southeastern Louisiana University, Carey earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2014. Afterwards, she worked in the urgent care setting — caring for people of all ages, from birth to geriatric. Sleep medicine is also part of her experience as an FNP.
Carey lives in Central with her husband and three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her girls cheer and play sports, traveling with her family, gardening, and running.
She is excited to join the Kid Med team; providing quality care to children in the community and educating families on healthy lifestyles and disease/illness prevention.

Carey Jackson, APRN, FNP-C

Ashton Fox, APRN, FNP-C
Ashton Fox received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge and a Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans. With over 12 years of nursing experience, her favorite population to care for is the pediatric population. While Ashton thoroughly enjoyed caring for pediatric patients in the Emergency Room, her favorite place to be is caring for children from birth into adulthood in the clinic helping them thrive. She enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, watching her kids play sports, and spending time with their two dogs and cats.
A former California girl, Catherine began a new chapter of her life when she moved to Louisiana and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 from Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Her nursing journey includes Medical-Telemetry at North Oaks Medical Center, ICU Stepdown and Post Anesthesia Care (Recovery Room) at Our Lady of the Lake, and Post Anesthesia Care (Recovery Room) at the Surgical Specialty Center and Lake Surgery Center in Baton Rouge. In May 2022, she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and became board certified in August 2022.
Catherine has a passion for integrative medicine and the mind-body relationship and strives to provide this type of holistic and trauma-informed care for her patients. The pediatric population has become her favorite to work with during her career, with a special interest in adolescent mental health. This inspired her to develop her doctorate project, “Screening for Adolescent Depression in Primary Care: A Quality-Improvement Project,” where she was able to make an impact on the teenage population by raising awareness and guiding treatment options.
In her free time, Catherine loves to travel, cook, eat, and spend time with her family. She has 3 fur babies- Kat the cat, Miso the Shiba Inu, and Otie the Frenchie.
